Triangle were commissioned to create a global style guide for the launch of Star Wars Rogue One, with artwork for in-store experience areas, retail displays and specific 3D feature areas around the UK and rest of the world. The challenge was to have over 600 artworks designed, created and produced ready for a simultaneous installation across the globe on the same day, in time for the much hyped midnight madness launch!
This highly confidential project required maximum secrecy at all times. Windows were covered up, doors were locked, software was securely protected for image transfer, warehouses were kept under cover and we worked for 6 months in total secrecy with Disney, producing the artworks for the global rollout across the USA, Canada, Australia, Asia and Europe.
Artwork process and delivery for each territory required top level organisation and a very keen eye for detail, with mutiple assets and legals and as to be expected, strict Disney Star Wars protocols to be followed. We breathed a huge size of relief and gave ourselves a big pat on the back when compliments from Mike Stagg the VP of The Walt Disney came through...
